... when it's Vanderbilt Lakes!
Vanderbilt Lakes is a charming community nestled between US-41 and the Gulf of Mexico. The main entrance is located off Vanderbilt Drive, South of Bonita Beach Road and is the gateway to the Florida lifestyle. Within this gated community exists lush landscaping and rambling lakes which are home to multiple enclaves consisting of luxorious single family homes, carefree villas, and several condo communities each with their own personality and style. Streetlamps light the meandering roads which are typically full of walkers, bikers, roller bladers, and the occasional wildlife.
Vanderbilt Lakes is where I call home and the neighbors are friendly and courteous. Several times each year there are get togethers at the "clock plaza" on the lake for Spring Fling wine & cheese parties or the ever popular Fall Festival with beer and brats. Beyond the beauty of the lakes and the friendliness of the people, the location is so convenient to get to the beaches nearby or easy access to shopping and restaurants.
